“Life and Bicycles in.. ‘the motorway city of the seventies’” is written by cycling people in Leeds, the host city of the 2014 Tour de France grand depart, the second most dangerous city for cycling in England, and the second most car-dependant city in England.
The authors own and ride lots of bicycles in Leeds and want to help make Leeds a healthier, happier and more prosperous city where people are free to move around under their own steam in comfort and safety.
The views expressed are the authors own and not necessarily those of any organisations with which they are associated or by whom they may be employed.
